The gas company is working in the 1900 block. Gravel base is being placed in the south half of the 1700 block. Sidewalk work is ongoing in the 1300-1500 blocks. The second lift of bituminous pavement has been installed on 3rd Ave. from Riverfront Dr. to just north of Spruce St.
The detour for the neighborhood will be at Spruce St. beginning 9-17. Chestnut and Pine Streets at 3rd Ave. will be closed for three weeks.
Upcoming work will be curb and gutter, sidewalk connection, and retaining wall installation in the 1500-1600 blocks.

The gas company is working in the 1900 block. Utility pole work is ongoing in the 1500 block. Testing and fine grading are ongoing in the 1200-1400 blocks. Gravel road base has been installed in the 1600 block. Excavation for the modular block walls has occurred in the 1600 block as well. A lane closure has been set up on south bound Riverfront Drive for curb and sidewalk connection work going on on in that area.
The Chestnut cross over detour is being maintained during the ongoing work. Upcoming work will be the base course of bituminous for the 1200-1400 blocks, just north of Spruce Street. Sidewalk will be ongoing in the 1300-1400 blocks along with modular block wall construction in the 1600 block. Box culvert installation north of the railroad tracks will be installed as well.

Gas company is working in the 1800 & 1900 blocks with flaggers present. Curb and gutter has been installed completely from Riverfront to Spruce St. All sanitary, storm, and watermain has been installed from 1200 to 1700 blocks. All sewer and water services have been connected and the temporary water system has been removed. The RXR crossing has been completed. Excavation for modular block wall is ongoing in the 1600 block.
Chestnut St. continues to be the main detour crossing into the neighborhood area. Upcoming work will be curb and gutter mainline installation in the 1500 block. Modular block wall construction in the 1600 block. Box culvert installation just north of the RXR tracks.

Sidewalk has been placed in the 1200 block of 3rd Ave. Storm sewer work has been completed in the Chestnut intersection and will be open for the detour route by 8-28. Class 5 has been placed in the 1300 and the1400 blocks. Subgrade preparation is ongoing in the 1500 and 1600 blocks. The Spruce St. intersection will close on 8-28 for subgrade preparation thus making Chestnut St. the detour route again.
Upcoming work is curb and gutter installation in the 1300 and 1400 blocks.

Recent progress – Sewer and water services are currently being installed on 3rdAvenue between Spruce Street and Pine Street. Storm drain work at 3rdAvenue/Chestnut Street intersection is expected to begin Friday, August 21 and last through Wednesday, August 26th. Access for residents in the neighborhood to the west of 3rd Avenue will be at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Spruce Street during that time period. Sidewalks are currently being installed on the south side of the project.
Upcoming work expected – Storm Drain installation at 3rdAvenue/Chestnut intersection will continue along with subgrade excavation/preparation and the placement of aggregate base at the intersection. Sewer and water service work will continue between Spruce Street and Pine Street. Miscellaneous concrete work will continue on the southerly portion of the project.

Utility poles are being installed in the 1500 block. Service work is ongoing in the 1300 to 1600 blocks. The Chestnut St. crossing is still open. Gas contractor is in the Pine St. intersection and working north to RR tracks. Sanitary & water services are being worked on in the 1300-1600 blocks. Sanitary main line has been completed from the 1300 block north to the RR tracks. Curb and gutter staking is being preformed from Riverfront to the 1300 block. Gas company is working in the 2000 block using flaggers to direct one lane traffic. Storm sewer work is ongoing in the Maxfield intersection. Sanitary sewer work is ongoing thru the Chestnut intersection. The detour is going through Spruce St. while pine street is closed for gas main and sewer and water work is ongoing. The detour will go back to Chestnut St. when the utilities are finished in that area. Class 5 has been placed in the 1200 block. Fiber conduit is going in on east side of 3rd Ave. in the 1300 block.
